Never rub stains

Once you notice gum stains on your carpet, apply ice cubes directly on the gum area for at least 30 minutes, then using a spoon, remove the frozen gum while carefully cutting the carpet strand right next to the gum. This technique will remove most of the gum without leaving a noticeable stain on your carpet.
Dishwasher detergent to remove grease stains
A good dish washing detergents will strip grease from your carpet the same way they do for dishes. Mix some dishwashing detergent and water and spray the mixture directly on grease stains. Using a piece of cloth blot the area and repeat as necessary until the stain comes out.
Use Heat to remove wax
When you have candle wax stains on your carpet, apply a piece of white cloth on the candle area and press a warm iron on top. The iron will warm the candle wax and you can scrap this off the cloth with a butter knife.
Hydrogen peroxide
Start by loosening blood stains using water and a mild detergent, then remove as much blood as you can by scraping it off, once done, remove any remaining stain by applying hydrogen peroxide on the stain. You will notice some fizzing as blood and the peroxide react, finish off the process by dabbing the hydrogen peroxide using a towel.
